Altar
of Roses
"The Fragrance of God's Glory"
(2
Cor. 5:17) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION;
the old has gone, the new has come!
I
am at the altar of roses broken from my stem
Let
me smell glory, let me hear from Him
The relative definition for the term rose is to move upward under
the influence of a projecting force.
When we come to the altar of God, we are like stemmed roses that
have been cut from the foundation of life. We find ourselves at
the foot of the cross, waiting for to be delivered from our troubled
lives. Just like a rose that has been broken from life, it is
only through Christ that we can be redeemed. The risen Saviour
was crucified on the cross and rose to bring glory to the Father
in Heaven.

The
root of creation had to be prune through the sacrifice of Jesus.
As we rest at the end of the cross, we become the fragrance of
God's creation. At the end of the harvest it is our soul that
must be delivered. Separating ourselves from sinful world is like
surgery, the doctor moves quickly to save us from the cause of
an infection. Many times we struggle with the ideal of trusting
an invisible God, we find ourselves at war with fear and doubt.
Our faith is broken when the realities of life, heartaches, and
painful decisions emerge.
Today
we must begin at end of the cross. Just as a rose is prune
from the root of the world, we must separate from the old and
become renewed creatures in Christ.
The altar of roses are the souls to come to the end of self in
order that they might live in Him.
Many
of us are being tested everyday with the effects of living without
God in our lives. Let us ask the question? Is my faith
strong enough to rest at the cross? Is my love for God real
in my life?
If
we allow ourselves to become one in Spirit of God, we will smell
His Glory falling from Heaven. We will stand in His reem.
Prayer
Dear
Lord, it is you that fills my mind and heart each day
It
is You that keeps me full of life, I love you Lord, you are the
air that I breath, you are the water that I drink each day.
When
I am restless or feeling sad, it you that brings me joy
Oh
God, thank for your love, thank you for Christ. Thank for
the altar that I may come to you when I am broken from the world.
The
old has gone, the new has come!
In
Jesus Name Amen
