Poetic Prayer

"Battle Cry at South Park"

Oh God, send forth your angels of war tonight! Line them up like planes ready to take flight. Clear the runway of any distraction. Light the stage for God's upcoming attraction.  It is battle time in South Park. It is time to love with God's heart.

Lock in your belt and gear. Speak the word without fear. Take up your shield on your right. Open with prayer before the fight. Aim your sword at the enemy in sight. Chase the darkness into the light. Tell the enemy that God is near. Run with faith and have no fear.

It is time to rumble in the praying hour. It is time to shake up the ground with God's power. Send the enemy the first blow. It is time to open the show. Hear the sound of Angels and men. Watch the sky as the war begins. Jesus Christ is coming again.

Listen to the wind spinning in the sea. God is returning to claim his deed. Watch Him pull the root from His seed. Lower your head and smell the burning tree. It is time to set the captives free. Listen to the fear panting like a deer. The second Pentecost is almost here.
