Be
Slow To Anger!
"Bind
the Spirit of Anger In Jesus Name"
Greetings to you in the name of
Our Lord Jesus Christ
Let me share with you a small testimony.
At a work place there was a major issue that caught the eyes of
the senior management. The issue was quickly looked into by all,
however the team that had committed the error was not responding
to the issue. They were coming up with all sorts of excuses on why
it went wrong instead of listening to what needs to be addressed
first.
After everything was sorted out this team would still continue to
make the same mistakes and ask the same questions for which answers
were already provided. Now this lady who was addressing this team
on what needs to be done started getting frustrated with their constant
calls for every issue. Now, because of this the lady was constantly
cribbing and was furious with them.
Later that night, this lady made a minor error that caught the eye
of her boss and she was asked to explain what had happened. She
gave her explanation; the error was a pardonable one and her boss
who otherwise would lose his temper just smiled. She walked back
to her work station and quickly said Thank you Lord!
 The lady
on her way back home heard the spirit of God speak to her, “Are
you tired from all the work”? She replied “Yes I am,
I just don’t understand how I made such a minor error”
the Holy Spirit replied “I allowed you to because I wanted
you to realize something, I am NOT HAPPY with the way you are treating
this Team”. She replied “How many times have I taught
them, I am ok to teach them a zillion times but they are irresponsible
and they do not take ownership of the issues that they handle”
the Holy Spirit replied” That is not your problem, no matter
what I don’t want you to forget that you have Christ living
on the inside of you”.
That was a revelation and that was the start, this lady who was
cribbing was me, I quickly asked for forgiveness and I asked the
Holy Spirit to help me pray, the transformation was seen in me the
next day. They still make the same mistakes, they still get me frustrated
and I do tend to crib but the second I begin to crib I bind the
spirit of anger in Jesus name.
Many of us today seem to get worked up too quickly. Reasons are
many and may be valid but the word of God says James
1:20 “the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness
of God.”
So precious people of God, the next time someone
seems to get on your nerves, quickly ask yourself one question WWJD
[What Would Jesus Do]? This is a question that I would encourage
y’all to put into practice. When you seem to be in a situation
and are unsure on how to react ask yourself WWJD in this situation
I am in?
Proverbs 14:29
"He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who
is quick-tempered exalts folly.”
Precious people of God say this prayer today
and see God work wonders in your life.
Heavenly Father, I give my situation over
to you, I pray dear Lord that you take the weaknesses in me and
transform me to be more like you. Forgive me Father if I had said,
thought or done anything that displeases you in Jesus name. Amen!
