"Being Spoken to Through a Dream"
Matthew 2 (verse 20) But while he thought on these things, behold the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 2 (verse 12) And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
Acts 16 (verse 9) And to vision appeared to Paul in the night: there stood a man of Macedonia, prayed him, saying, come over into Macedonia, and help us.
Now God has spoken to many in dreams, most of the time when I have a dream I can't remember it fully or it doesn't make sense; I have been praying and speaking to the situation regarding my son and the chains that have bound my family for generations. Now let me share with my spiritual family about the dream I had prior to my son's phone call from the police station: "My son would usually come to my bedroom door and kind of peak at me before entering the room fully, this particular night he was standing at the door peaking and as he walked in I noticed he was covered with blood, tears filled my eyes and my heart began to hurt as I was spinning in and out of emotions".
At this point and time I had put my son out of my home based on his erotic behavior and being rebellious, so I wasn't sure where he was living but I knew he wasn't far from home. I immediately jumped out of my bed and fell on my knees and humbly asked God to take care of my child where ever he was and may His will be done. I went into my daughters room and asked them real calmly if you know where your brother is please tell me something has happened, I think he may be hurt or has hurt someone. Needless to say I don't have a clue of what has gone on or any of the details
I had Prayed the week before with my prayer partners, because I had taken the situation back from God and was attempting to deal with it again from a carnal point of view and I must say when you step out of the Spirit and into the world you are perplexed with the troubles of the world all at once. After praying and giving this and other situations back to God, there was a sense of peace, relief and relaxation that could only come from above. (Praise God)
Now a couple of nights ago (Hallelujah) I had another dream, I have a picture of my son sitting on my nightstand and one on my dresser: I have been lead by the Spirit to begin speaking as if my son was there at home (Amen), so when I'm getting something off my dresser, awakeing in the morning or just sitting, I speak to my son through the picture. "There is no need to hide anymore, there is no need to be bitter anymore or feel sorrow".
Now as I said, I had a dream and my son was peaking through the door as he usually does with this huge smile on his face as I smiled back I thanked God; that was my confirmation from God that everything is alright. God spoke to Joseph in a dream and allowed him to know, the baby Mary was caring was not a sin but the Holy Ghost. (praise God) God warned the wise men not to return back to King Herod (Amen) and Paul had a vision at night to go and be of service (Amen). So I'm not taking this dream lightly but as a up lifting for my soul and consolation to my heart and believing God to be ALL God ALL by Himself.
In closing 1 John (verse 14) And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he hearth us: God has heard me, my son, daughters and fellow saints praying and my confidence is in Jesus and through Him I claim my Victory in ALL things that are trying to come against me and my family including my spiritual family. I claim the righteousness of my rights as the child of The King.
