God's Still on the Throne – Don't Give Up!
Praise The Lord!
Someone out there is on the verge of quitting, you feel like you have tried all that you can, you have done all that you should have, you are living a life pleasing God and yet you don't see any change.
Is this you today? If yes, then I'm going to scream and say out loud to you who ever you are and where ever you may be don't just give up yet, Lord almighty is fighting the battle for you.
We can so easily get distracted by our natural surroundings that we fail to realize the supernatural blessing that God has for us.
Did you notice that no promises of God in the Bible went unanswered? All his promises came to pass. Also note that all his promises came to pass in HIS appointed time.
I have seen that it is the truth and we as believers should start applying it in our daily life. Here is one verse from the bible that asks us to hold on and not give up "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. "(Phil 1:16NASB) No one knows when God's appointed time is for us. But the good news is we have a tool that will help us sail even during turbulent times. The Power of Prayer is the tool God has given us "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective" (James 5:16b, NIV My life has a lot of sufferings; it is not a bed of roses for me. But I put my trust in God and press on. Every time I feel like giving up I think about the one who loved me more than any human on this planet ever did. The one who died for me is fighting my battle; he tells me how can I give thee up? And I tell myself it's not over until God says it's over. "
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. "1 Thessalonians
5:16-18
Let me tell you and assure you that God's still on the throne and we are his children, he knows what we are going through even if people fail to see us through. So let us rejoice in the Lord and let the enemy know that we are standing firm in our faith with God by our side.
Precious people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in your life. Father in heaven, I am weak and I feel like giving up. I don't have the strength in me to carry on anymore. But I believe in you for the word of God says "For when I am weak (in human strength), then am I strong (able, powerful in divine strength)" (II Corinthians 12:10, AMP). I pray in the name of Jesus that you would strengthen me for only hope is in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Amen!
Note: The bible is full of God's promises to his people. I would like to encourage you to read such verses and strengthen your faith.
