"Have
an attitude of a Victor
and
not a Victim"
Glory
to God.
I
would like to ask each one of you who is reading this, Are you facing
any difficulty, may be a challenge or may be even a dead situation
in your life? How are you handling it? What is the kind of attitude
you have adopted at times like this?
Are
you out there saying? It's done, I can't take it anymore. It only
happens to me. Let me just give up. If this is you today let me
urge you and encourage you to STOP
. You are a child of the Most High God. You ought
to have an attitude of a victor and not a victim. If you just believe
in what the Lord has to say. Stand strong in faith and you will
soar like an eagle. "
He holds victory in store for the upright, He is a shield to those
whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and
protects the way of His faithful ones" (Proverbs 2:7-8)
I
am facing a dead situation myself and each day I am pressing on
trusting in Jesus. People of God it is not easy to stay focused.
I at times want to give up and the devil will try to bring you down.
The situation around you may seem to worsen, it may seem as if all
hopes are lost, but if you can trust in the Lord then be reassured
that God's fighting the battle for you. Your natural eyes may not
see any difference in the problem but as you press on you will see
a supernatural break through.
Just
because things don't seem to go your way doesn't mean it won't go
God's way. We serve a mighty God. He says unto us “cast
all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.” (1 Peter
5:7)
How
do I keep my focus? The situation has risen above my head, I have
lost my peace. The answer my friend is to Control
your Thoughts. Know that the devil will try to
attack your thoughts, tell you negative things and provoke you to
give up. It is so important dear friends to
Be Still at times of trouble and let God to do
his part.
Don't
walk around all low and discouraged. Start celebrating for the God
is still on the Throne. You know, with the problem I am going through
I find it hard to go around smiling and enjoying my life. I would
go like, God when will my time come? Being from a non Christian
background I wasn't a regular at Church. I said God, the minute
this thing sorts itself out. I would come to church with my friend
to thank you.
And
then I got reminded of a wonderful promise of God. He says “That
is why I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that
you have received it and it will be yours”. (Mark 11:24).
People, do you believe today
that Faith can move mountains? I believe it and you know what, in
my case the situation from what I know and heard has only gone bad
but I go to church every Sunday to thank God for I know he will
fulfill his promise and will move this mountain from my life.
Be
sure in your heart, that God knows and sees what you are going through.
He is aware of your situation. All we have to do is cling
on to God. Don't go around trying to solve things
on your own. For what man can't do God can. Amen. Take refuge in
him. Do not carry any anger or frustration on yourself or any one
else. I feel abandoned and left out by this friend but I do know
two things one God is in control and he will turn things around
for good, two no good friend will turn his back on you intentionally.
Stand strong in faith and for we serve a faithful God.
Precious
people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in
your life. Father
in heaven, we commit ourselves and our problems in to thy hands
today. Lord, the situation may seem dead, the challenges seem huge,
but we take refuge in you dear Lord and we believe that you are
in control and are already working things out for our good. In Jesus
most precious name we pray. Amen.
Note:
The bible is full of God's promises to
his people. I would like to encourage you to read such verses and
strength your faith.
Blessings
Tina
