little spark of pain
dripping like the rain
It hurts me to share the blame
It hurts me to feel your shame
So I just pass you on my way
Hurting with little words to say
Can I avoid you homeless heart
Can I pass by your shopping cart
If I see you lying still
Will I ask if you are ill
O little sparks of pain, dripping like the rain
Tell my heart what to do to ease your pain
Please help me homeless heart
Let me push your shopping cart
My selfish life is driving me insane
Please talk to me, tell me your name
Can I just stay and listen for one day
Let me hear what you want to say
Let my coat cover you from the cold
Let me be a friend as you grow old
