Is Jesus Your Friend? He is mine!
Praise the Lord
Friends – It is such an important relationship in our lives. Nobody can be without a friend. I know I can't. In life, as you grow you will come across people of different culture, class, religion and caste and we all will bond in a way where we are comfortable enough to share our everyday happenings with them.
But, the same Friends might also turn their back on you when it comes to saving their own lives. I must say growing up I found it hard to have friends who would stick by me no matter what. May be the effect of not having a complete family made me want to make my friendship work with every soul I connect to.
It's not such a bad thought but it becomes bitter when that soul turns away from you after giving you all the hope and faith and encouragement that you have been waiting for. I have seen it all, until the day I met the Lord.
I have been a believer for so many years now and my life changed the second Christ walked in. So did my life become easy after that? Oh no! No Believer will say his Christian life is easy, but we will boldly confess that we walk in faith and that makes it all worth it.
I have slipped number of times, backslidden from the ways of the Lord. But he was right there waiting for me when I came back after the world let me down. Oh! How true is it when he says I will never leave you nor forsake you! 1 Samuel 12:22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people. You cannot find a greater friend than Christ Jesus. He is the only one who will stand with you NO MATTER WHAT . I am telling this only because I have experienced it. Trust me it is not a good feeling to be rejected by the one you trusted just because some situation came up. Christ is always with us in spite of the circumstances. JOHN 15:13 Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends
Think about it, Search deep within and I want to ask one thing from all of you. Are there people in your life you trusted and they for some reason left you stranded and astray? What are your feelings toward them? Let me tell you friends, should there be anyone who is reading this have someone in your life that needs to be forgiven because they have hurt you for whatever reasons. Forgive them will you. Forgive them so that you can be set free. Forgive them so that Father in heaven will forgive you. You are a special Friend to Jesus and he sure does love you. How do I know that you ask? Because he loves me too and I have felt his love, the love that helps me sustain through this trying times and I am sure his love will work wonders in your life. "The righteous should CHOOSE HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY, for the way of the wicked leads them astray." (Proverbs 12:26) Precious people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in your life. Lord, Thank you for being my Friend, for accepting me for who I am and cleansing me off my sins and for looking at me with love. Thank you for your mercy and goodness. Father I pray that you will help us in all that we do and guide us in every step we take for it is you we Trust. Thank you Lord and I pray that every soul that is broken and lonely and is in need of answers finds rest in you, in Jesus mighty name I pray Amen.
Note: The bible is full of God's promises to his people. I would like to encourage you to read such verses and strength your faith.
