Many of us spend our entire life trying to make room for Jesus. Our churches spend millions of dollars on buildings, fancy windows, nice carpet, parties, bake sales, and so on…. But in the end, there is no room to invite Jesus. We leave him outside with the poor, the lost, the homeless, and the unsaved. You see, Jesus is still out there in the street bearing the suffering of souls and affliction of sinners. He is out there in the broken places with hearts that ache with pain. Yes he is out there in the places that led him to be crucified. He is still walking through the villages that hunger for righteousness. Jesus is still carrying the burden of all our sins. He is waiting in the alley ways, the broken homes and the hearts that need to be loved.   As we look to another day, let us make room for Jesus.  Amen
