"Keep The Faith"

Praise the Lord!

Day in and Day out all I do is pray. I meditate on the word of God and I continually pray but, I haven't received an answer as yet. This thought crosses our minds now and then. Let's be honest. I am writing about this because I felt it a couple of times in the past few days.

Right from Sunday I have been feeling blank. I still don't know what it is. But this hasn't affected my thoughts or my relationship with my Lord. I speak to him, I still worship him, we laugh, we talk and we feel connected but yet there is feeling in me that I am unable to understand. Usually this could lead us in to a lot of negative thinking. But I chose to stay still and let Lord reveal and speak to me about it.

This feeling tends to put me down, you know why? It's because the devil is trying to capitalize on my feeling and I did for a couple of times fall in to his trap. In fact today at work I was suddenly hit by a thought that made me cry. But I quickly uttered words of faith “ I don't have to have the approval of others in order to be approved by God” .

...."he who glories, let him glory in the LORD." For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord comments".  2 Corithians 10 17-18

I know that I have been approved by God, but even then the devil tries to mess my mind into believing something else. Think about it, when the devil is so strong in not giving up his hopes and on his attempts to bring our lives and faith down. How much more power do we have in our Lord to stand firm in faith?

Now those of you who are reading this won't know what I am referring to. I just want you to know that I am sharing a portion of my life only to let you know that I too have problems and this is how I'm handling it.

Do you recall this verse?

"And Jesus said unto them, for verily I say unto to you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say upto this montain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you". Mt 17:20

Now the bible also says this. Did you know if you are faithful with a few things, more will be granted to you?

"His Lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant:  thou has been faith over a few things, I will make the ruler over many things:  enter thous into the joy of thy Lord"  Mt 25:21

Now each one of us have many issues for which we seek God's help. We all start the race, the real question is how many of us withstand the storm and Finish the race?

This is a formula that I have adopted this past week with regards to my above mentioned problem. In times of trouble à Being Faithful to Christ Jesus = God's Promise Land

Sometimes we ought to know and believe that God works in miraculous ways and we just have to submit ourselves and our problems to the one above and be still for the bible says "  And we know that all things work for good to those who love God..."Romans 8:28

I reassure you today that no matter what circumstances surround you today, Remain faithful and you will enter God's Promise Land . I wanted to share what I am going through with you all today so that you would know that I am just like any other believer who is facing life's challenges but I am willing to press on because we serve a mighty God who is way bigger and stronger than any of our problem.

Precious people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in your life.

Father in heaven, I surrender all my worries and troubles to you. I pray sweet Lord that you would help me experience real happiness which is in Christ Jesus; for I know that the joy of my Lord is my strength. Lord, I am willing to press on and remain faithful unto you for you have loved me and have valued me and you thought of me before you died.

I boldly confess that everything is going to be alright in the name of Jesus I pray Amen!

Note: The bible is full of God's promises to his people. I would like to encourage you to read such verses and strengthen your faith.
