"Learning
to love with Your Soul"
Matthew
22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and
greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor
as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
In
ministry as well as life, we want
so much for every situation in the world to turn out right; we want
every soul to be saved for God's glory. After our own thinking has
taken a rest, we are faced with the reality that the heart has failed
to carry the weight of unconditional love. Some of us have
reached an impass with the distorted definition of love. The
simple fact is that love from the heart is like water; it can dry
up and leave you in a hard and bitter place. How can I give
love with all of my soul, how can I pour the passion of Christ Jesus
into a well of rejection? My answer to this question is, bind the
heart with the Spirit and let the Holy Ghost teach you how to love
with your souls.

We
must learn to refine intimacy without human nature. We want so much
to please God, we fight with all our might to keep even the last
glimer of hope alive. The compassion that comes from the soul is
not always accepted, that would be too easy. We must still
go back to the broken pieces that have exhausted the heart.
Let
us remind ourselves that everything we do
in life is about coming to the end of self. Tonight my heart cries
out with a heavy burden to give what is left of me to those that
really need to be loved, “how much love do I have left to give!”?
The
scripture is clear that we must love with our heart and soul and
with all our mind. We must love the one who suffers as if
it was your own pain. The love that comes from our souls is
always willing to change places with the victim of suffering.

“
Love from the Soul”
When
the love from the heart can no longer be trusted,
learn to love with my soul
When
the storms have torn your happiness into pieces,
treat
what remains like gold
When
disappointment comes to take your joy,
smile
with glowing boldness anyway?
When
the terms of success are shaded with doubt,
try
harder on the next day
When
bitter minds cry with fear,
embrace
the anger
with love filled with tears
When
the world no longer wants you near,
whisper I love you into her ear.

A
Missionary's Prayer
Lord
you are so full of surprises, you keep showing me new miracles that
are beyond my little mind. I held your creation today and
you sent a river to bless the poor and needy. Thank you for
sending your Holy Spirit, Thank you for deliverance and healing..
I was so surprised when you blessed us with your redeeming presence.
I thank you Father in Heaven for a day that has left me full of
joy, full of the water of life and full of God.
What
a day we had Lord, What a day.....
Amen
