"That Someone is Only a Breath Away"

Greetings in the name of our Lord!

For the last two months I was not myself, Christian life is not easy! I seemed to have lost the connection I had with someone so important and just last week I realized every time I lose myself and become a part of this world, fear covers me from root to tip. I lose direction, I lose my temper and I lose my battle with the devil.

I was getting tired of it. I needed that someone in my life. I needed to feel that someone.

And…… one morning when I was travelling in the bus that someone appeared with a Mighty Entrance!

It has been just been over few weeks, and because of that someone I am more relaxed, content and worry free. My problems don't seem to matter anymore. My fears are not my concern.

Trust me when I say this because I was struggling to get over all that has happened in and around me. For a minute it seems as though everything is going on well for me and the next I am crippled with doubts and fears that I tend to push away those who I know and become so quiet and non responsive.

Any how this is not about me. This is about that someone who helped me re-gain my Faith!

So, who is this someone? Who met that morning and what happened? Friends in Christ read on for this is chapter 2 of my life.

It was in the cold month of Dec 05 that I accepted Christ to be my personal Lord and Savior and in two weeks I gave my altar call and I knew I was set apart to do God's work. Coming from a Non-Christian back ground I had NO IDEA how and when he was going to use me, I did back slide in the following years but I couldn't be a part of this world for long [It's a good thing :)] and here I am today. Praise GOD!

The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is so important, how important?

His ascension, Christ promised the power of the Holy Spirit to enable us to be witnesses for Him

( Acts 1:1-9 ).

A Christian life is not an easy choice, especially for me. When I know I have failed God, I just can't continue to write something for the sake of it. I fear God and till I get it right with him [confessing] and till I know by faith I am forgiven I will not connect with people.

Confess your sins. By faith thank God that He has forgiven all of your sins - past, present and future - because Christ died for you ( Colossians 2:13-15 ; 1 John 1 ; 2:1-3 ; Hebrews 10:1-17 ).

I am not ashamed of saying that because, every time that I have failed I have also fought back to come to this point to tell y'all what I went through.

What are the problems you are facing? Are you taking any steps to solve it?

I want to tell you something that is as real as the air you breathe. Your problems will never go away but you can still have peace beyond understanding for it is a promise of God

There are certain measures/ decisions that we have to take as mortals on this earth; then again we also have the option of requesting God's guidance.

Now, I do know that we go to God with ALL the major decisions of our life and leave him out in the little ones. I want to encourage you today and tell you please do not have God as your option in your life, make him your priority.

God through the spirit said "I will never leave you nor forsake you". How powerful is that. You can Trust HIM! The decision is yours to make!

That morning, I surrendered myself to the Lord COMPLETLEY and I cried out when I prayed "Lord this is not your plan for me, I have suffered without your guidance for so long and I am trying to accomplish things on my own, forgive me of my sins. I invite the Holy Spirit to guide me from this day forward, transform me Father in Jesus name" and before I knew it I was drenched in his love.

It was from then on I began hear that distinct voice, the voice of that someone, the voice of the Holy Spirit!

I said Lord, I am yours! Help me to live life the way you see it. Through all the battles and struggle I knew one thing that nothing is more important to me than my belief in Christ. I can never be perfect but I will strive till my last breath to see my God smile at me.

You too can have that someone in your life, Yes you can!

It starts with SALVATION, The minute you ask Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sin and cleanse your heart, mind, body and soul the Holy Spirit is there with you from that moment on.

Precious people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in your life.

If you feel you have been away from the Father, then I tell you it's no accident you are reading this. I want to invite you to pray this prayer and start fresh.

Precious Father in heaven, I thank you for your ransom gift, your son who shed his blood on the cross of Calvary for my sins. I seek for forgiveness Lord of my sins and I invite the Holy Spirit to guide my way. Help me to lead my life accordingly to your will. Open doors, that you may use me as your vessel to reach the unreached to spread the truth. In Jesus name I pray Amen!

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ( Romans 15:13 )

Note: The bible is full of God's promises to his people. I would like to encourage you to read such verses and strength your faith.
