"The
North Wind is Coming"
Solomon
4:16
Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden that
the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden
and eat his pleasant fruits.

Weekly
Devotional
Every
day we fall asleep, we are sometimes awakened by the scary feeling
of an earthquake, fire engines, thunder, Santa Ana winds and the
constant tragedies of life. The time has arrived where the world
will stand still in awe of the Creator and His power to remold a
world lost in sin. A word of warning to those that would sleep rather
pursue the mystery of God's love and His patience. What will you
consider when the north wind starts to blow. Should we wait until
the dust settles and allows us to touch what we don't believe. Wisdom
teaches us to learn from the doubting Thomas questioning what he
could not see. Had not Jesus allowed him to touch his physical body,
the result of disbelief may have been presented today in a different
way.
In
closing, Luke chapter 5 verse 1-7, Jesus told Peter to go and drop
his net into deeper water, Jesus wanted his disciples to trust God
with his creation. God knows every age and edge of dust he shaped
into life. As a strong believer in prayer, I say pray, pray, pray,
and pray. Seek the face of God. Ask Him to lead you with a clear
understanding. Turn to the open path that will not be moved by the
winds of change and reform. Become a instrument that is in harmony
with the Lord. Should we wait or should we be kingdom minded.
We can be the farmer of souls, tending fields for the great harvest.
We can be at work preparing the way for the glory of our Father.

Poem
“The
north wind has come and gone”
Imagine
the soul of a woman who arises one morning and embraces the cool
winded sky as she is taken by the fragrance of the end of a storm.
Her garden has been shaken and all the flowers have been broken
free. She stands looking upon the pink colored trees that now bear
the slightly broken stems that once hosted the branches and leaves.
The north wind has come and gone. The fragrance is all that is left.
The wind has settled and laid a bed of colors streaming quietly
across shaping her life. The north wind has come and gone. The whispering
rain has settled upon the surface of the earth. The birds are beginning
to spring up from their nest and play in quietness of the morning
dew.
Devotional Prayer
Dear
lord, show us the fields of the lost. Teach us how to be famers
of souls. Give us more faith that our minds will not be mislead
by the things of the world. The vacation is over and we want to
get back to the work of saving souls and preparing for battle. Arm
us dear God, arm us. We are lost without You to guide us through
the valley of the north wind. In Jesus Name Amen.
