"There is Life in CHRIST and in HIM alone"

It has been the toughest year of my life. To be here and doing what am doing is very difficult. The past month I had a spiritual warfare that once again made me want to give up my faith in Christ Jesus. I just couldn't handle what was thrown at me. I couldn't understand it and secondly I didn't know what I had to do. Sometimes as a person you just expect God to come out and save you from what you are going through. I was banking on that, but I didn't see or feel God and that made me question if he was really there and if he really did love me.

I am in to ministering now and years back when I first went to church saw the pastor there, I was thinking to myself that these people really have no problems in life and that God must really love them to keep them from all troubles, Well that is not true and what I want to tell y'all is just because we speak words of faith and encourage you, does not mean our life is perfect. In fact the walk of faith is more challenging than anything I've ever experience. It is important that when you are under spiritual attack you hold on to your faith because you know that Jesus is the Rock and that we will not slip by the works of the enemy.

My friends ask me “ Why then do you follow Jesus ?” I say

Think about it, it is because he suffered on the cross for us we are set free, it is because “God loved his people so much that he gave his only begotten son” John 3:16 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed” Isaiah 53:5.

Today, I tell you the Lord has given me such desire to reach out to as many as I can to preach the good news. I want to make one thing very clear to all those who think we Christians are here to “Convert”. NO, no one can convert anyone by force. I tell this cause I am from a non Christian back ground and I felt and am still experiencing the power and the love of God in my life and I want people in the dark to realize that there is life in Christ and in him alone.

I want to encourage you to take that step of faith and reach out to God and allow him to take control of your spiraling life. I don't know who I am talking to but God is watching and he is waiting for you to come.

I reflect back on this verse as I was guided by the holy spirit I sat to write on this

“ But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed.”Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." 1 Peter 3:14

Take Courage!

Precious people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in your life.

Heavenly Father, I chose to leave this life of darkness and come to the light. I pray dear God for you to come in to my heart and cleanse me of all my sins and as I offer my life to you, I pray you would take all that is in me and use it for your Glory in Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Note: The bible is full of God's promises to his people. I would like to encourage you to read such verses and strength your faith.
