WE
NEED HIM MORE THAN EVER
HE
IS THE ROCK!
Praise
the Lord!
I
have been going through a lot lately. Lots of dilemma and lack of
confidence in me made me give in. Fear gripped my every thought
and every problem seemed so huge.
I
was so scared that I couldn't go to church; I felt like a loser
and felt like God wasn't hearing me out. I hate to give up but I
was so stressed that I couldn't think otherwise. I had asked brother
Danny to give me some time off because I wanted to refresh my relationship
with Jesus.
I
know I can't count on anyone except Jesus, but my relationship with
him was falling apart. Many of us as Christians feel this way from
time to time. It's a fact that I am willing to confess.
My
life as a Christian is not easy, especially now, but I just can't
seem to imagine any other God in the place of Christ. I keep telling
him that I know no other God except you. I am dependent on Jesus
24/7.
I
did go to church after 2 weeks today. It was communion Sunday and
when I was in the bus on my way to church I was talking to Jesus
and I was like, "I don't know how am going to worship you because
I just can't feel you and I don't want to be a hypocrite".
But
the minute I entered church I felt him, his presence and I couldn't
help but praise him. Later that evening the message that was rendered
in that service was for me and I knew Jesus would do this and I
was like Oh my God (You know how to make me smile)
Sing
to the LORD! Give praise to the LORD! He rescues the life of the
needy from the hands of the wicked. (Jeremiah 20:13)

We
do have a God who listens and cares about us. But there is something
that we ought to do from our end to keep us going and that is to
set our minds right, earlier in my message I had mentioned that
Fear gripped my every thought and I was lost. Things haven't changed
as yet but it's bound to. Not just for me but for each and every
one of you.
Let
us believe together and surrender all that we have to the Lord above.
I learned a lesson, the lesson being; don't let your thoughts control
you. In other words don't let what is happening in the natural break
and crush your belief in the supernatural.
Finally,
brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever
things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good
report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy
— meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8)
We
can't always control our thoughts that enter our mind, but we do
have control over how long we keep them there. Think about it.
Precious
people of God say this prayer today and see God work wonders in
your life:
Father
in heaven, how great is your loving kindness. Thank you for being
so patient with us in spite of our weakness. You are the rock on
whom we stand and we are proud and grateful when we say we are your
children. Help us dear Lord to seek you at all times and worship
you even during the most trying times of our lives. I pray that
you would release your blessing up on every soul that is crying
out to you and I pray that you use us to touch many lives in Jesus
precious name we pray and all of God's people said. Amen!
I
would like to leave you with one of my poem that I wrote for Jesus.
What
This World Needs
Lord,
I give myself to you
I love everything you do
Your the one this world needs
It's your words that I read
You heal the broken hearted
Something that which was shattered
Your what this world needs
It is your love that I breathe
I will do my part
I will keep what you said in my heart
You shed your blood
You died on the cross
For the sins I did
But, Lord you treat me as your own kid
You are what this world needs
I pray that one day people will take heed.
JESUS
IS THE ROCK ON WHOM I STAND. WE NEED HIM!
