Without
Walls Part 2
"Song
of my Soul"
In Psalm 100 verses 1-5 the word says: Shout
for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give
thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his
love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
There
are moments when my heart aches with sadness for the hungry and
forgotten souls. In my maturity in Christ, I am learning to sing
at the foot of the cross. In my last devotional, “Beginning
from the end” I talked about coming to the altar or the end
of the cross. Today's devotional will take us further into a church
without walls.
Some
opportunities have been lost the this month, the things that we
wanted for Purple Ark have been changed or ended. Once again we
are at the foot of the cross; we are at the end of our own efforts.
So what can a soldier do? We march on in faith, we sing praises
any way.
When
we finally come to the end of our own will, God will steps in to
claim us at the cross. His glory shines on our kneeling souls; He
takes our broken moments and gives us a song for the soul. There
is nothing sweeter than the fragrance of deliverance and glorification.
When one door of chance closes, God will open up a treasure chest
of his grace and mercy. He will make a way out of no way.
This
year I have been learning from the Holy Spirit that I must wait
on God, I must be still when the changes are being made. In life
and in our walk of faith, some things must end in order for greater
things to begin.

The
fruit of obedience is watching God move the mountains that keep
us from crossing over. As missionaries, we become tabernacles for
souls to be lifted up to His Glory.
In
closing, let us learn to sing to the soul that belongs to God. Lift
up your voices and declare that God is waiting at the end of our
human efforts. In Jesus Name
Prayer
Dear
Father, thank you for the song that is playing in my heart. I am
truly blessed to be called friend of God. I am no longer afraid
of life changes. I have found peace in knowing how great Thou are.
Teach me how to be still when the refiner comes to test me at the
altar of God. In Jesus Name Amen
